Parking & Directions

Free Off-Site Parking w/Free & Continuous Shuttle Buses

Option 1: The Washington County Fairgrounds (Larger/Primary Parking Lot) ~ Off Route 112
Option 2: The Richmond Antique Center (Smaller Parking Lot) ~ Off Route 138

Kenyon's Grist Mill is located in the quaint village of Usquepaugh in West Kingston.  We want visitors to experience this old-world setting at our events.  Listen to the birds and the waterfall without traffic, loud noise, or congestion.  Off-site parking & shuttle service are not only free - they are more convenient, less stressful & only minutes from the mill.

Depending on where you are coming from, we have listed the best directions and parking below.  Signs will be along the roads.  Parking attendants at off-site parking locations will assist you.  Buses will be continuously running loops throughout the festival.  Shuttle service is at your leisure from 10 a.m. until after 5 p.m.  The drop off will be at the picturesque Queen's River Waterfall, diagonal from the mill where there will also be vendors.

Since vendors will be set up in our usual parking areas, parking at and around the mill, as well as along Route 138 is prohibited for the safety of you and others, and for the respect of our neighbors.  Traffic police will ONLY allow local access into the village.

Other Questions (Call us at 800-7-KENYON)

Is Handicap Parking Available?
Parking attendents will save room for handicap parking at the Washington County Fairgrounds close to the shuttle buses.  Keep in mind that there are NO handicap parking spots at the festival location/Kenyon's Grist Mill, as space is limited to vendor booths.  There are NO handicap facilities.  Our historic mill and shop contain a few stairs with hand rails.  Some areas where vendors are set up contain dirt, gravel and grass.  Handicap persons can be dropped off at the festival location/Kenyon's Grist Mill, but a driver will have to park his/her car at one of the off-site parking locations.  Traffic police and parking attendants will assist you.

What if it Rains?
It rained a lot last year and we hope we have sunny weather this year!  If per chance it does rain, we will still be open!  Depending on the severity, certain vendors may not attend, though some weathered the storm last year!  We will keep you updated on who will be attending on our homepage.  No matter how hard it rains, there will always be free mill tours, johnny cakes and coffee.  Clam cakes and chowder will be available for purchase and our mill store will be open.  If it rains severely, we encourage people to try the Richmond Antique Center & Country Store first.  If you are traveling Route 95, follow directions to the Washington County Fairgrounds, bear left to follow Route 138 East instead of going on Route 112.
Travel 0.5 miles and the Richmond Antique Center will be on your left.

Are Dogs Allowed?
