2009 Kenyon's Grist Mill Tours

Kenyon's is excited to open the mill on the following weekends for tours and special events.  Each event has a different twist.  We look forward to seeing you! 

Kenyon's Grist Mill Open House - Usquepaugh, RI 
May 30 & 31 (Saturday & Sunday): 10 a.m.-5p.m.

Kenyon's Grist Mill Father's Day Weekend Tour - Usquepaugh, RI 
June 20 & 21 (Saturday & Sunday): 10 a.m.-5p.m.

Kenyon's Grist Mill Tour Series - Usquepaugh, RI
July 25 & 26 (Saturday & Sunday), August 29 & 30 (Saturday & Sunday): 10 a.m.-5p.m.
Admission is FREE, but please bring a food or clothing donation for the Jonny Cake Center.  Take a free tour of the mill, watch the grinding process, visit our mill store, and sample free Johnny Cakes.  Clam cakes and chowder will be available for purchase.  Enjoy complementary coffee provided by Updike’s Newtowne Coffee Company and cooking demonstrations with a special twist a top complementary Kenyon’s pancakes by Celestial Café, along with our our famous corn muffins baked at Sophie’s Coffee Bake Shop.  Meet local artisans and farmers as well as other contributors including Ice Pond Farm Alpacas, Rhody Fresh, Get Fresh/Buy Local, the Jonny Cake Center and other local businesses.  Take a kayak ride down the picturesque Queen's River from Queen's River Kayak Company.  If you are interested in kayaking, please make a reservation by clicking here.
